November 2nd - 3rd - Hot springs

This was definitely one of the best trips I'v ever made. Highly recommended!
We started early on Saturday with a group of seven people (Laure, Pauline, Stina, Tash, Joakim, Jonathan and me) to get our mini van in downtown. After we finally got it, we started heading north and it took us about 4 hours of driving to reach our destination - The Pebble Creek Hot Springs!
Right beside the river with ice cold glacier water, there are little tubs where the hot water is gathering. If I say hot, I mean damn hot. There were three tubs with different temperatures and we sat in the coldest, since the other ones were just too hot. I'm just mentioning that the outdoor temperature was around zero degrees!
Unfortunately I can't present you any pictures of us sitting in these, since I didn't want my camera to get wet. Anyway Jonathan took some nice pictures which I hope to get.
In the evening we had a campfire and of course sausages and marshmallows. Thanks to Christina I was able to sleep on a matress and thanks to Juliette I had a sleeping bag which kept me warm. Thank you both!
On our way back we stopped in Whistler, where we are going to ski soon and while the others found a restaurant for lunch, Tash and I booked a time for bungee jumping! So after lunch we jumped...tied to a rope so we're fine now :)
That was more than enough text I guess, so now enjoy the pictures!
These were the first impressions before the really steep hike began. I'm still impressed that nobody got hurt...

We ended up at a place where we could build up our tents and save our food (in case of bears). After that we searched the Hot Springs and ended up playing a drinking game in one of the tubs. (No photos, sorry)
We returned in total darkness to our camp and started a fire to eat some sausages and marshmallows.
The next day was even sunnier than the first one. I should mention that when we started from Vancouver it was raining, but when arrived the rain was gone. The following pictures show the nature and the hike back to our car.

Hardest part done. Time for more pictures!

On our way to Whistler I took some pictures as well. Partly out of the car window.

We had a coffee in a small village and lunch in Whistler, where Tash and I discovered the office for Whistler Bungee. Since it was a perfect day, we decided to jump as you can the in the following.

 And here is brave Tash.
Thank you Stina for these awesome pictures!
These last pictures were taken by their official photographer. After that we headed home to Vancouver.

Fantastic trip, fantastic people.
If you ever happen to be in Vancouver, you should really visit the Hot springs!
